Is there really a free plan?
Yes — Orbit has a Free plan with the core tools (jobs, measurements, proposals, invoicing and card & ACH payments) and no credit card required. Upgrade to a paid plan anytime to unlock the rest.
Do you charge per measurement?
DIY satellite tracing is included free on every plan. Instant AI and human-certified satellite reports are billed per report when you order one — there's no subscription upcharge, you only pay for the reports you pull.
Can I change plans later?
Absolutely. Upgrade or downgrade anytime as your crew grows — your data and settings carry over automatically.
What does it cost to take payments?
Online card and ACH payments run on Stripe. Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ on cards, 0.8% capped at $5 on ACH) plus Orbit's platform fee (0.5% on card payments, 0.25% on ACH) come out of each payout. The Orbit fee is billed to you and never added to your customer's total; you can choose to pass Stripe's processing fee on to the customer. There is no monthly fee for payments. Do you offer onboarding help?
Every plan can import contacts and jobs from your old system with the built-in import tool, and the help center walks through setup. On Scale we do the import for you and you get a named contact rather than a queue.
